Topics / Speakers:
1. LoadRunner and Performance Center: The major differences, why and how to migrate from LR to PC, plus a sneak preview into the next major release of Performance Center
Nick Pappas, Lead Performance Test Engineer, Raytheon
Performance Center is built on the LoadRunner platform, but with many additional capabilities. Extra capabilities, such as process control and test execution results archival, require additional resources (servers). We will explore when and why moving to PC is justified and recommended, and the three main paths for migrating. Finally, PC 9.5 and beyond promise more power, increased ease of use, and - for the first time - true integration with Quality Center; we will provide a sneak preview of what to expect from the next major release of Performance Center.
2. Quality Center Defect Management – Moderated Group Discussion
Michael Deady, Sr. QA Analyst, JC Penney
Defect management and reporting refers to the process of identifying, reporting, resolving, and re-testing discrepancies between actual test results and expected results. In the presentation we will show you best practices and/or guidelines, with a couple of tricks along the way.
